darkroom > beds

The bedroom is an intimate space; when seen by others, it is exposed as a room that contains the details of our private lives. These photographs show varying expanses of personal space by depicting the bed as an intimate object. Its significance is best defined in the absence of its inhabitant.

I photograph each bed as is, disheveled from use, or neatly made up, however its owner chooses to leave it for others to see.
